Costa Concordia: view from Satellite
Satellite Image of the Costa Concordia ran aground and capsized near the island of Giglio in Italy on 13 January. The image was taken on 17 January.
The super-sized cruise ship Costa Concordia entered service in 2006 and made regular trips around the Mediterranean; at the moment is half-submerged off Italy’s Tuscan coast.
At least 11 people died and 24 are still missing.
